P.E.A.C.E. and H.O.P.E. Center for Youth

The P.E.A.C.E. and H.O.P.E. Center strives to be a sanctuary,  and empowering the youth of Columbia is at the core of our vision. We envision a space where young people can discover their strengths, talents, and passions. Through mindfulness practices, conflict resolution workshops, and communication training, we aim to instill a sense of tranquility within each individual.

Through our mentorship programs, leadership training, and skill-building workshops, we seek to empower them to become confident, capable leaders of tomorrow.

In a world that often emphasizes differences, our center is a celebration of diversity. We promote a culture of acceptance, where every individual is embraced for who they are. By fostering an inclusive environment, we hope to break down barriers and encourage a sense of belonging. This sense of community is a cornerstone of our vision. We envision a space where young minds come together to share experiences, ideas, and dreams. Through community service initiatives, collaborative projects, and team-building activities, we strive to create a supportive network that lasts a lifetime.

Our Summer Camp 2023 was an incredible expensive, but successful. It was filled with laughter, learning, and lasting memories for the youth we serve at the P.E.A.C.E. and H.O.P.E. Center for Youth. From team-building activities to creative workshops, it was a time for our kids to feel safe, celebrated, and inspired.

As we gear up for our Summer Excursion of 2024, we’re excited to create even more opportunities for our youth to enjoy themselves, discover new passions, and build lifelong friendships. But we can’t do it without your help!

Your support makes it possible to:

• Provide scholarships so every child can attend, regardless of their family’s financial situation.
• Host enriching programs, from sports and art to leadership and community service projects.
• Offer meals, transportation, and supplies to ensure a seamless and joyful experience for all participants.
• Field trips to places such as George Washington Carver Museum, Negro Museum, Six Flags and more.

Together, we can make this 2024 Summer Excursion a blast, and truly one to remember! Let’s give our youth the chance to thrive, explore, and simply enjoy being kids. This year, Destiny of H.O.P.E., P.E.A.C.E., and The P.E.A.C.E. and H.O.P.E. Center for Youth, is teaming up with Dream Tree Academy and Columbia Supreme to ensure a summer to remember.
