Destiny of H.O.P.E.'s mission is to empower at-risk youth, the formerly incarcerated, and the broader community by fostering love, education, and guidance to help them lead fulfilling lives of promise and hope. The organization is driven by a dedicated team of professionals, including mentors, facilitators, outreach workers, and tutors, who provide comprehensive support to children, youth, and families, promoting resilience and empowerment.

Key programs include:

-Mentorship initiatives with curriculum-based classes such as ReDiscovering You, Building Healthier Relationships, and the Critical Change Gang Prevention Program.

-Reentry support through the C.A.P.R.E. program, offering resources to individuals returning from incarceration, including youth from juvenile justice systems.

The organization seeks support to sustain programs for Columbia's at-risk youth, providing a safe, nurturing environment for learning, personal growth, and constructive alternatives to traditional education pathways. The center emphasizes mindfulness, conflict resolution, and communication training to foster tranquility and empowerment among youth.

Collaboration with local churches, healthcare providers, community members, and government entities enhances the organization’s impact. Founded in 2001, Destiny of H.O.P.E. has grown into a thriving nonprofit, serving hundreds annually. In partnership with P.E.A.C.E., the organization established the P.E.A.C.E. and H.O.P.E. Center for Youth, focusing on both academic success and emotional development, ensuring graduates are prepared to contribute meaningfully to society.
