Name a foster!
If you make a donation of $15 or more you get to name an adult foster CAT next year!
If you make a donation of $25 or more you get to name a KITTEN foster next year!
If you make a donation of $50 or more, you can name an entire litter. Litters are usually 3-6 kittens.
You can shoot me an email at tnr@columbia2ndchance.org with your donation receipt, name idea and if you want it to be for a boy or girl. You can even request a color though I can't make promises there!
Try to think of fun names that are uncommon. Things like Tiger, Salem, Midnight, Luna, Bella, Fluffy and so on are often so seen by the public they can be passed over when a profile is being viewed. Be creative! I look forward to seeing all the name ideas for next year. Lord knows I'm running out of ideas hahaha!
Some of my fun names have been anything from themes for litters of kittens, to long regal names, to silly names that were made up. Examples: A theme could be retro toys - Yoyo, Slinky, Tamagotchi, etc. Fun names like Squonkus or Malarkey. Regal but funny names like Sir Maximus Flufferbutt.
Maybe name one as a memorial of a past pet. Or a name you've always liked. I can't wait to see what idea's you have!
Thank you for considering donating to Columbia Second Chance! Our mission is to advance and support relationships between people and companion pets, specifically dogs and cats, through the acts of rescue, adoption, prevention, and education. We hope you will consider partnering with us to save more animals in 2025!
Why I love Second Chance: Second Chance has been an amazing rescue to work with. It's largely volunteer based which means the people that are there want to be there, they want to help. It's been a joy working with everyone involved and making new friends! I've also learned so much and it has motivated me to even learn more. I find myself becoming more and more involved each year. It's kind of addicting! I love helping both the rescue and the animals. It has also helped keep me busy so my depression stays at bay ha. So thankful for this rescue and all they do. I look forward to many more years of volunteering and helping animals.
