Help Bring Authors to Schools and Change Lives

During the years I helped organize the Unbound Book Festival Authors in Schools program, we brought beloved authors before tens of thousands of local K-12 students. We know that students identifying with the authors' experiences and stories find some consolation for their own struggles. Those sympathizing with them may learn empathy and compassion for their classmates. An engaging author can take students to the ends of the Earth, leaving them with new insights and more open minds. 

 Storytelling is about people taking ordinary or extraordinary human experiences and challenging us to understand them through the lens of our own time. Please help us continue to bring inspiration, engagement, and delight to our students by contributing to this worthy program.
