Trans Passport Sponsor Fundraiser

Help sponsor a trans person getting a passport! This is a resource that The Center Project has been offering, but it is expensive, costing $180 per person to pay for all fees related to the passport process. Our goal is to raise 3,600 dollars, which would enable 20 trans folks to get passports. 

Please consider donating to this cause, as people can change their gender marker on a passport without needing proof of any surgeries or any other gender related changes, and passports can be used as ID. This makes it the only way many trans people in Missouri can get a form of ID that matches their gender identity right now. Trans people are also especially targeted and vulnerable right now, and some are wanting passports just in case they need to flee the country during the next four years.
