What we do:
We provide an educational, safe, and nurturing environment for children 6 weeks to 8 years old on a sliding fee scale for children whose families would not otherwise be able to afford childcare services.
Why we’re great:
Nora Stewart Early Learning Center was originally established in 1933 to address the lack of early childhood education opportunities for African-American children. Today the center has the same vision, but serves a more diverse ethnic population.
Why does your organization deserve community financial support?
We help our children continue to grow, engage, and be prepared to enter kindergarten. Without assistance, our children may not receive the educational services needed to get them ready for their future educational path.
