Greenbelt Land Trust of Mid-Missouri

What we do:

We work with private landowners and public agencies to conserve streams, forests, grasslands, and farmlands throughout Mid-Missouri, to ensure that the open spaces that define Mid-Missouri will be there for our children and grandchildren.

Why we’re great:

We work with partners from throughout Mid-MO to coordinate our conservation efforts and maximize our impact. Alhough we are small, we have already accomplished a great deal to improve our community’s quality of life for generations to come.

Why does your organization deserve community financial support?

Because of our community’s enormous wealth of natural amenities, our population is growing rapidly, and, as we grow, the pressure on those amenities will only increase. We work to ensure that our descendants will enjoy the same natural legacy we do.
