Friends of Rock Bridge Memorial State Park

What We Do

Friends of Rock Bridge Memorial State Park (FoRB) helps the park with stewardship and small capital projects. It also provides a free Urban Populations Outreach Program (UPOP) for low income youth and Nature Detectives (ND) for pre-schoolers.

Why We're Great

Since 2006, over 5,000 children, youth, and adults have attended FoRB’s free UPOP and ND programs. Low income youth learn outdoor skills so they can help their families enjoy the park. Pre-schoolers learn to explore the park with their caregivers.

Why does your organization deserve community financial support?

Your gift helps ensure that every summer hundreds of kids will enjoy a free in-depth, hands-on experience in the park that will inspire a love and understanding of nature that will last them their whole lives.
