What we do:
We build community and enhance personal health by supporting a network of 20+ community and school gardens in Columbia. We are an all-volunteer organization that provides supplies and know-how to help new and existing gardens succeed.
Why we’re great:
Our community gardens are open to all in the community, regardless of income. They bring people together from diverse backgrounds and nationalities. They give people the chance to grow their own food and reap the many benefits of gardening.
Why does your organization deserve community financial support?
Financial support from the community is multiplied many times by the sweat and effort of hundreds of gardeners. All of our gardens are managed by the gardeners themselves--those who receive the benefits are the leaders and workers.
