Columbia African American Association Memorial Scholarship Fund

What we do:

CAAA provides scholarships and mentoring to underprivileged minority high school students. Our mission is to assist the community in developing young adults into responsible citizens and community leaders.

Why we’re great:

We are committed to excellence, integrity, and service before self. Since 2009 we’ve awarded 38 scholarships to Columbia high school students totaling $50,500 to provide higher learning opportunities and help improve the lives of minority students.

Why does your organization deserve community financial support?

We are an all-volunteer non-profit organization funded through private donations and fundraisers. The additional support would allow us to fulfill our mission and objectives by changing lives of young adults in the community forever.
