What we do:
Boone County Animal Care, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal welfare organization, is located in Columbia, Missouri. We are an entirely foster care-based organization passionate about improving the lives of cats in our community through adoption and TNR.
Why we’re great:
Our primary focus is Trap, spay/Neuter and Release (TNR) as an effort to reduce the overpopulation of cats and kittens and promote adoption of healthy cats and kittens. TNR improves the overall health of the cats and kittens in our community.
Why does your organization deserve community financial support?
TNR reduces the number of intakes to our local shelters and, over time, decreases the number of feral cats in our community. We want to target (TNR) certain neighborhoods around Columbia that have too many cats.
