What we do:
ACTS works to improve the health of children in the country of Georgia, where newborns face higher death rates due to a lack of equipment and training. With Rotary and MU Health Care, we are helping doctors and nurses there save these tiny lives.
Why we’re great:
You make a long-term difference for an entire country by supporting projects like “Breathing Life Into Georgian Babies” and the Ron James Georgian Diabetic Children’s Camp. Every gift is a sustainable investment in rebuilding this war-torn region.
Why does your organization deserve community financial support?
Healthy infants in rural Georgia are dying needlessly because medical personnel don’t have the needed equipment and expertise to clear their airways after birth. A gift of as little as $10 can buy a warming pad to help ensure these babies survive.
