OUR MISSION

Woodhaven empowers individuals of all abilities to live independent lives. We do this by supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and neurodivergent youth through three primary program areas, Residential, Community Employment, and Community Connections. Our uniquely blended services fill the gaps many find within the disability services structure locally.

WHY WE’RE GREAT

Our services continue to be unlike many other traditional programs and services. We believe that everyone has the ability to add value and make an impact in their community and the lives of others. We believe that everyone deserves to live with dignity and independence in a home anyone would be proud to call their own.

LIST OF VOLUNTEERS AND IN-KIND NEEDS

We need volunteers in a variety of functions. If you are interested in volunteer opportunities, please reach out!

WHY WE BELIEVE WE DESERVE COMMUNITY FINANCIAL SUPPORT

Woodhaven continues to be a staple in our community by providing supports for over 120 community members through our various programs. They are your neighbors, your church friends, your co-workers. Woodhaven ensures that each individual receiving our services is treated with dignity by giving them choices, providing the education they need to succeed, and helping young adults find employment.

HERE'S WHAT $50 OR $100 WOULD MEAN TO US

This would allow us to take a group of students out for a social event, where they can participate in their community while building community amongst themselves, and with others. Many of our individuals love going to Camp Wonderland. Your support can help make that dream a reality.

WE USED THE FUNDS RAISED DURING CoMoGives LAST YEAR TO BENEFIT THE COMMUNITY BY

The funds we raised through CoMoGives last year provided scholarships to many students so they could attend classes at EnCircle. These classes can be life changing. We recently spoke to past student who stated that these classes have made them feel less awkward and uncomfortable when speaking to people, they can communicate much better and they are looking for a job now which they never thought was possible before. These stories fill our hearts with so much joy, and your contributions make all of it possible.
