Jennys Wildlife Wonderland

Jenny’s Wildlife Wonderland is currently the only non-profit wildlife rescue in Boone County. Jenny is a licensed wildlife rehabilitator under the Missouri Department of Conservation since 2014.  We provide care for wildlife in Columbia and surrounding areas.  Specializing in neonate mammals, we nurse orphaned, sick, and injured wildlife, back to health.  

Our mission is to provide the absolute best care possible for wildlife, while in our care.  The goal is to rehabilitate and release back into their natural habitat. 

We receive no state or federal funding and are solely funded by community donations. Donations are critical to this organization in order to stay open and help more animals in need.  It costs $10,000 each year to run our organization.  Please consider donating to help all the wildlife that come through these doors and are giving a second chance at life! Donations are used for vet bills, medical care, vaccinations, groceries, grain, medications and cleaning supplies.   

We are 100% volunteers so ALL donations go directly to helping wildlife that comes through our doors.

Each semester, we partner with MU through the Service Learning Program and get new students ready to learn!  Education is our second passion, this is the only place where students can get hands on training.  Students have the opportunity to learn about animal husbandry of native wild species.  Hands on training includes:  vaccinations, parasites, diet, bottle and tube feeding, deworming, sub Q fluids, illnesses, medications, to name a few.
