The Food Bank for Central & Northeast Missouri

The Food Bank for Central & Northeast Missouri distributes millions of meals annually to partner agencies across a 32 county service area. We provide a number of hunger-relief programs that support specific populations in need, such as children, seniors, veterans and our unhoused neighbors. Through our relationship with Feeding America, a $25 contribution helps us provide at least 100 meals.  

The Food Bank works with 145 pantries, shelters, soup kitchens, and nearly 200 schools to serve 100,000 people per month across our 32-county service area. With food costs remaining high, need continues to increase. For example, The Food Bank's own pantry in Columbia, The Food Bank Market, saw a 10-year high in September, serving over 12,600 neighbors in one month.  Further data show that 1 in 7 people in Missouri - and 1 in 5 children - are food insecure.
