Cedar Creek Therapeutic Riding Center

Cedar Creek serves individuals with special needs, Veterans and at-risk communities by using horses and people to enhance quality of life. Each year, we welcome 200 riders with disabilities and engage more than 300 volunteers. Participation in our therapeutic riding program fosters physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development, offering an effective alternative or complement to traditional rehabilitative therapies. Through the guidance of our gentle, specialized horses, riders experience success in a fun and beautiful outdoor setting, where the horse becomes the therapist, enriching the lives of everyone involved.

94% of our riders report an improvement in quality of life as a result of riding at Cedar Creek and see positive changes in almost every physical and cognitive domain. Supporting Cedar Creek is one of the most effective ways to directly support people with special needs in our community.
